I was just looking through photos of different fish and was wondering what type of fish to get for my new tank. Its 102.6 litres (90 x 38 x 30). My first time with an aquarium. Thanks
P.S I want bright coloured fish, but not too expensive. Also any tips on rookie mistakes made would be great.

fishlover thanks for joining the forum and welcome to the board.
For your first fish i recommend you choose something that is not too delicate and will be easy to care for.
Your best choices would be cherry barbs for tropical as they are extremely hardy but also have a nice colour
and are generally very cheap.
If your starting up your tank make sure to look into the cycling page on the information side of the website, and make sure
that you do not add too many fish too quickly.
